This month's Thought-Provoking Question is, in honor of how truly awesome/fantastic/enjoyable summer really is:
What is your best summer memory? Your worst? Any big plans for summer this year?
(Yeah, so it's 3 questions! It's my blog, sue me.)
Thanks for participating!

Best summer memory: Summer 2007. We had just moved to McLewis. It was/is our first real duty station, and we got to set-up our first "home".
Worst summer memory: Summer 2004. It was the summer between sophomore and junior year of college. I was living at home and working at a job that I hated. Blah.
This summer: C will be home from deployment July 1st is, and we will be PCSing in October. We have an entire to-do list to complete before we leave this state! We're going camping, whale watching, to Forks (Twilight!), to Mount St. Helens, etc...
best summer memory: (this is a hard one, there are so many great memories from summer!) probably would have to be a kinda cheesy memory, but the night max and i first kissed - it was late, we had spent all afternoon together, talking, playing outside and looking at old photos together. i drove him home and we ended up sitting outside for awhile because he lives in the middle of nowhere and the stars are unbelievable - and then he asked if he could kiss me (what a sweet man) and of COURSE, i said yes. the whole entire drive home, i was like a 12-year old schoolgirl, giddy and in love.
worst summer memory: the summer after high school, when drama reigned and all my friends were mad at each other (oh how i truly do not miss high school!)
summer 2010 plans: lots of cabin time with friends, spending time outside (you know us minnesotans gotta get all the sun we can while we got it!!!), weddings and ice cream!!!
Best and worst are the same...my babies (although you were not technically born in summer...it was warm that May ;)!) I just love diaper babies...cute and cuddly, big eyes just learning the world. Wonderful!
But also the worst since Megan was so sensitive to heat and we did not have air conditioning in the car (the days when we were soooo poor!) We stayed home and indoors a lot more than we wanted because she would turn red as a beet and become lethargic just from the heat (not sunburn because she was not actually exposed to the sun, just heat.) It was rather scary!
This summer is yard work and landscaping...let the fun begin...oh, and it's ok to tempt us away occasionally, just sayin'
Best summer memory: summer of 2006 when I traveled to China and met some wonderful people and had the time of my life.
Worst summer memory: same summer when Mr. M left for boot camp and I had to say goodbye to him for the first time (since we were used to seeing each other everyday) and it was hard for me to let go.
Plans for this summer: We are getting married and I'm moving down to North Carolina to join the military life!
