Swagbucks Solar Vortex Swag Code Extravaganza

I haven't posted on Swagbucks in a while, but since I just redeemed my stash of points for an Amazon gift card with enough value to purchase a small library for little Charlotte, I'm in the mood to share!

For those of you who don't know, Swagbucks is a social community that allows you to earn points that build up to purchase items, gift cards, etc... You can earn points through a variety of ways most of which are pretty easy and don't require a lot of time. (That is, of course, my preferred method of saving money!)
If you haven't already, go check it out and sign up. Tomorrow is the perfect day to start since they are having an EXTRAVAGANZA to give away a truck-load of points. It's an easy way to jump start your points total and get a feel for how Swagbucks works.

Oh, and have fun!

{Disclosure: I earn referral points for clicking on the above links to Swagbucks and/or the Extravaganza. All the words, thoughts, and opinions are my own and I do not promote companies that I don't legitimately use and support.}

Swabucks' 5th Birthday

Swagbucks has some big things in store for their 5th Birthday this year - they're giving out five $1000 cash prizes and holding a HUGE Swag Code Extravaganza where you can earn 135 Swag Bucks worth of codes! There are also some huge games planned, and while the party doesn't happen until February 25th, tomorrow you'll get more info, including how you can win one of those $1000 prizes!

Haven't joined Swagbucks yet? Click here to join and use the Swag Code 5THBIRTHDAY during registration - you'll start with 120 Swag Bucks instead of the usual 30. I have earned over $200 in Amazon gift cards by using Swagbucks, but there are so many other items you can build towards. So, check back tomorrow for more information on how to earn more Swagbucks in honor of their 5th birthday.

**I am a Swagbucks affiliate and while I do not get compensated for my opinion, I can earn Swagbucks for my posts. I would not, however, promote the company if I did not truly believe in and support it. As always, feel free to message me or email me with questions on the Swagbucks program.**

A Few Quick Things

I just wanted to stop in (amid a whirlwind catch-up after spending my Sunday hovered over my toilet with a serious stomach bug) and remind you a few big things going on in the blog-world.

Today is the day for first-round voting for Military Spouse of the Year! This is first time I've participated in voting (for no particular reason) and there are so many amazing ladies nominated. You can only vote once per email address and the voting is only open today - so take 5 minutes of your lunch break/kiddo's nap/down time and head over to check it out!

My personal favorites:
Lori Volkman, long time mil-spouse and MSJDN board member who is a fierce advocate for military spouse's wishing to pursue higher education and professional careers. Check out her FB profile.

Jacqueline Goodrich, wounded warrior spouse whose support for wounded warrior families is unsurpassable! She was a personal inspiration early in my blogging career, encouraging my to continue the path! Check out here FB profile here.

(My honorable mention, since I only have two email addresses with which to vote) Angela Caban, Founder of Homefront United Network and avid mil-spouse advocate and all-around sweet lady! Her FB profile is here.

Second, today is the only day for Jantastic Swagbucks opportunities.

If you do not already follow me on Facebook, I have one especially good reason why you should - every couple of weeks I post a note with a list of giveaways I find around the web. Some I enter, some I don't - but all of them are great opportunities for you to find new blogs to read and win free stuff!

Finally, stay tuned this week for a couple great posts: a review of NEOChalk Chalk Pens; a peek at my new coffee bar; and another look at my 2013 goals.

Happy Tuesday-that-feels-like-a-Monday to y'all!

Many ways to win Swagbucks in January!

During the month of January, Swagbucks is offerings many new swagcodes that allow you to buckoo-bucks! (Beau-coup is the proper spelling, I believe, but buckoo just sounds more fun!)

Click the picture above and you will arrive at the info page for the Swagbucks' "Jantastic Extravaganza!" (Hey, I don't come up with these names, I just help promote the programs...) The extravaganza runs all day on January 22 (Tuesday!) and includes a total of 65 possible swagbucks all with a January theme.

Head over on Tuesday and watch for the codes and redeem them for your swagbucks. Then, tell me what you're spending your bucks on!

A Quick Swagbucks Interruption

I sat there for a few minutes trying to think of a catchier title: swag-ruption? swagger-ruption? Oh, just say the actual words, idiot. Regardless of the title, this short message is to inform you of some great things going on over at Swagbucks.

First, if you haven't already, JOIN NOW! Then, check out their winter madness program. For each Swagbucks you claim (based on various winter activities) you will get a chance at a code-bill. Once you've collected all 8 code-bills, you will get an additional 25 FREE Swagbucks! In order to complete these tasks, it would take less than 20 minutes each day to track and enter each code and record them for the big redeem on NYE.

Want more information? Go here. In the meantime, pick up your daily bucks and a few others just by watching a video or two. Before you know it, you will be cashing in your points for Amazon, Old Navy, Starbucks, or other goods!

Happy Swagging!

Do you have Swag?

Search & Win

I have participated in Swagbucks for quite some time. Swagbucks is an online program that allows you to earn points or "swagbucks" by doing various tasks. The tasks range from simple, a daily poll question, to more difficult, signing up for various deals. You can also use the Swagbucks search engine in place of Google and earn bucks that way - very easy! None of the tasks take an exorbitant amount of time, but as you'd expect, the more time you invest, the more return you'll get. I typically spend 10 minutes per day and an extra hour per week and have found that to be a reasonable time for me. In fact, last year, I paid for over $100 of my gifts using an Amazon gift card earned exclusively through the Swagbucks program. This year, I am well on my way to doing the same.

This year, I joined the Swagbucks community as a preferred blogger and am able to share many great deals with you! I will not bombard you with information, nor would I do this if I didn't already approve of the process. I do, however, want you to have the opportunity to save money, earn discounts (and FREE stuff!) and have fun using the Swagbucks community!

If you are interested, click this link and sign up. It's free to do so and you will earn 20SB's just for trying it out! For the rest of November (only 6 more days) you will earn an extra 80SB's! That is a total of 100 Swagbucks just for trying their site (which is about 1/4 of the way to a $5 Amazon giftcard!)

Use this code: NOVEMBERSB to get the extra 80 bucks.
Please feel free to email me with questions, or ask in the comments so everyone can learn more!
